Marfans, EDS, and fibro, oh my!

I've just gotten home from my follow-up with the Rheumatologist. The relief of my negative lupus test hasn't worn off just yet, but following that good news is... well news I kind of expected already, but its still not good.

I received my little pamphlet here before leaving, as we had talked about osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. Osteo is in my family, but I don't have any bone issues. I was told to start taking a calcium supplement or a multivitamin... and I was given a prescription for muscle relaxants to take at night before bed. This is a sort of preliminary fibro treatment until I go through the genetic testing.

The geneticists are going to be looking for types of hyper-mobility, things like EDS and marfan syndrome. So, thats that. Just a matter of waiting, right now.
