The visible and the invisible...

I rolled my ankle last week, pretty badly at that. I was worried it might be broken since the swelling wouldn't go down and my ankle was huge. So, they had me come down to the hospital to get it x-rayed. X-ray said no break, thankfully, but the sub-dermal swelling was so bad that it was clouding the x-ray. Woo? Go me. I'm a professional klutz. My back was all better for three days and then I go and do this. Blah.
The pain is god awful, and it hurts my wrists and shoulders and ribs to use the crutches. Ergo, I don't do a lot. I haven't cooked for Loki in I don't know how long and I haven't been able to help clean. I'm useless, and its frustrating. Worse, I want to snap at the people who are only trying to be helpful. It just irritates me that I struggle with heavy doors on a regular basis, but now that I'm on crutches people notice and are more willing to help. People don't give me dirty looks when I use a scooter at the store because my ankle is wrapped. It just boils my blood, I can't help it. I mean, I help people with doors when both my legs are working, and they don't have to be hurt for me to do it. Why are people so damned stupid?
